Lauren and Marci are back in the States, classes have started back up, and I have moved in with the Marfaings. Life is excellent here; I reside in a bungalow of my very own, and there are clementines and cake à volonté. I didn't know living with a host family could be cool like this.

Hello, bungalow!

This weekend was British-a-licious, if you'll pardon the awful alliteration. Alex is leaving Monday so that he can get to Argentina in time for Carnaval... so of course we fêted it up with an enormous dinner on Friday and a trip to the bowling alley on Saturday. Who knew that bowling could double as a drinking game? France is full of surprises.

Most efficient way to get an entire metro car to yourself on a Saturday night: deploy toy trumpet.

Finals almost finished me off, but now they're OVER, and a week of vacation is ours. First stop: Bertille's parents' house in the country. She and her family are good people. We have lots of fireside reading time and extravagant sleeping ahead of us. And then, oh, THEN, comes the beach. TROP BIEN.

Manon loves the camera.

Alix: It's raining gruyère!

En route to school (a.k.a. the fac) for our LAST FINAL... under more snow.
